Clear boundaries before files, payment, or delivery.

Website use
Use the website lawfully. Do not bypass security, interfere with service, submit harmful content, or misrepresent authority.
No public file intake
The website accepts cohort-interest, software-waitlist, and project-scope descriptions only—no archives, secrets, credentials, regulated information, proprietary repositories, or confidential source content.
Inquiry is not acceptance
A submission, email, price display, or payment-page visit does not create an engagement. Work begins after fit, signed scope, required payment, and usable sources.
Interest lists and waitlists
A cohort-interest submission does not reserve a seat or open paid enrollment. A Studio waitlist submission is not a purchase and does not guarantee a release date, edition, feature, or beta place.
Scope, limits, and change orders
The governing agreement controls deliverables, counts, sizes, objectives, meetings, revisions, execution, timing, acceptance, retention, deletion, and exclusions. Material changes require a change order or new tier.
Payments, cancellations, and corrections
Payment follows scope approval. Smaller services are generally prepaid; larger work may use milestones. Taxes and third-party costs are separate unless stated. If source cannot be processed before substantial work, a refund or upgrade quote may be offered. Once material work begins, fees are generally earned according to completed work. One correction is included for a FlameSync-caused delivery defect.
AI Stewardship cohort terms
The AI Stewardship founding cohort has separate enrollment, attendance, refund, recording, materials, privacy, completion, support, and conduct terms. Review the AI Stewardship Cohort Terms before paid enrollment.
Client responsibilities
Clients need authority, must disclose sensitive or licensed content, use approved transfer, keep backups, provide usable sources, and designate a decision-maker.
Local software licensing
No FlameSync local application is on sale yet. FlameSync local applications, including the planned Archive & Evidence Studio, are intended to be offered under one-time edition licences with paid major upgrades rather than a subscription, after their release gates pass. The planned editions are: Free and Standard for personal, non-commercial use; Professional as a single-user commercial licence; and Business covering three devices under one organisation. Edition scope and pricing may change before release. Licences will not be transferable without written agreement. Editions, supported export formats, system requirements, known limitations, and support boundaries will be published with each release. Software will be provided without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and you will remain responsible for lawful possession of, and for keeping your own backups of, anything you process.
Local processing
Released FlameSync local software is intended to perform core processing on your own computer, without requiring an account for core use, without transmitting document or conversation contents as telemetry, and without uploading your archive automatically or processing it in the cloud without disclosure. Any optional network feature is to be separately disclosed and to require your consent. These are release commitments that must be verified before any version ships; they are not descriptions of software you can run today, and they describe the software only, not the human services described elsewhere on this site.
Evidence and automation limits
Conversion checks package structure, counts, manifests, checksums, and warnings—not content truth. Automated tools surface candidates; human-reviewed conclusions are labeled separately.
No specialist certification or guaranteed outcome
Services are educational, operational, archival, evidence-review, and scoped implementation—not legal opinions, financial audits, medical review, penetration testing, regulatory certification, scientific peer review, or guaranteed outcomes.
Independent Lab
Exploratory research is separate from commercial service proof and is not a validated scientific claim or certification.
